{"id":10242,"date":"2024-08-27T12:13:00","date_gmt":"2024-08-27T12:13:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/galimybiudirbtuves.lt\/socialines-dirbtuves-prienuose-2024-2029\/"},"modified":"2024-09-09T12:47:21","modified_gmt":"2024-09-09T12:47:21","slug":"social-workshop-in-prienai-2024-2029","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/galimybiudirbtuves.lt\/en\/social-workshop-in-prienai-2024-2029\/","title":{"rendered":"SOCIAL WORKSHOP IN PRIENAI 2024-2029"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_single_image image=&#8221;10102&#8243; img_size=&#8221;medium&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text]<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Public Institution Galimybi\u0173 dirbtuv\u0117s in cooperation with the Agency for the Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities under the Ministry of Social Security and Labour of the Republic of Lithuania and the Prienai District Municipality has started to implement the project &#8220;Transition from institutional care to community-based services in the Capital Region, Central and Western Region of Lithuania&#8221;, No. 07-018-p-0001 from March 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project aims to provide new forms of community-based services for adults with intellectual and\/or psychosocial disabilities, and their families (guardians, carers) and to provide the target group with individual services and support in the community that meet their needs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Community-based services are a range of different forms and types of high-quality social, healthcare and other services provided in the community as an alternative to institutional care, ensuring that a person has the opportunity to live in the community and to receive specialised assistance in the community that meets the individual needs of the person, and promotes the independence, full participation in the community, and social inclusion of the recipients of the service.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Social services of the Public Institution Galimybi\u0173 dirbtuv\u0117s for people with disabilities have been provided since 2020. We see the development of independence of people with intellectual disabilities, the strengthening of their abilities to participate as actively as possible in social life and the development of work skills as our most important goal.
