UAB “Birštono mineraliniai vandenys”
UAB ‘Birštono mineraliniai vandenys’
We have been in contact with VŠĮ ‘Galimybių dirbtuvės’ since 2021. We have hired this company to apply stickers on bottles and to fold boxes for containers. These are not routine services, but we always manage to coordinate the timing according to our needs.
In most cases, about 15 people arrive. As the work is with people with disabilities, there are 2-3 supervisors in the team.
The workers wear neat work clothes and bright colours, so it is easy to distinguish them from the other workers. They have all the necessary safety equipment (boots, clothes, etc.).
VšĮ „Galimybių dirbtuvės“ performs the tasks we assign in an excellent and timely manner. They are easy to communicate with.
We are happy to cooperate with them and to contribute to such a generous cause of employing and socialising people with disabilities.
Thank you.
UAB “Nojaus sėklos”
UAB ‘Nojus sėklos’ has been on the market for 30 years, selling seeds, bulb flowers and other garden/ garden products. Starting as a small family business, it has slowly grown, expanded, improved and grown in size. However, the core values of the company have not changed during this time – a responsible attitude towards employees, the social environment, active participation in the local community, and various support to social organisations.
The offer to contribute to the activities of Workshop of Opportunities was met with great enthusiasm by our staff. We understand how important it is for people with disabilities to be able to integrate into the labour market, develop social skills, and have the opportunity to express themselves, as this promotes their independence, motivation, self-confidence, and contributes to their overall emotional well-being.
We are very supportive of the idea of this organisation and we are happy to be able to contribute to it, even in a small way.
UAB “Naujasis Nevėžis”
Prienai is close to our community, not only because of its location, but also because most of our employees come from there. Taking the opportunity to take part in the Workshop of Opportunities initiative to integrate people with intellectual disabilities into the labour market seemed like a very good idea to us. And after trying it out, getting to know these people, observing them in the work environment, we were pleasantly surprised not only by the quality of the work they did, but also by their communication, their enthusiasm for work and their responsibility.
We would like to invite other companies to join this initiative!

UAB “Subtilija”
‘We noticed the meaningful work of the Workshop of Opportunities and decided to join such a great initiative and help people who are trying so hard to get a grip on life. We invite other companies to make a turn towards people with disabilities by entrusting small production operations, which are sometimes so short of hands and time, to people with disabilities. It’s a win-win situation.’
UAB “Megapakas”
‘In his book ‘Flying without Wings’, A. Beisser has proved that even a severely physically disabled person can lead an extraordinarily rich life…
The open labour market often lacks acceptance of people with disabilities as equal members of the community. In view of this pressing issue, we are working in good faith to integrate people from this marginalised group into the active labour market.’
UAB “HELLA Lithuania”
‘As a socially responsible company, ‘HELLA Lithuania’ is delighted to join the mission of the Workshop of Opportunities to help people with special needs to learn, develop their skills and develop their work and social skills. Every day in our factory, we look forward to welcoming these ten new team members, who have been entrusted with a very meticulous job: to ensure the technical cleanliness of the product packaging used in the production processes, and to sort parts from suppliers when necessary. One of the core values of ‘HELLA Lithuania’ is to grow and develop together, so the diversity in the team is a great gift to all our employees.’
UAB “Wilara”
We support at least one ‘more serious’ social project every year. We saw the sense in what you were doing and we were happy to contribute to it. Good luck!
The Food Bank Charity and Support Fund
The Food Bank donates the food it collects to non-profit organisations that care for a wide range of socially vulnerable groups. We support low-income families and individuals, people who are unemployed, families at risk and their children, people with disabilities and seniors on low incomes, large or single-parent families, etc.
The Food Bank Charity and Support Fund has been supporting the visitors of the Workshop of Opportunities with food since the start of the Workshop in 2020. The additional food support contributes strongly to the self-esteem growth and social inclusion of our people. Every week we have a common lunch with the refreshments we receive from the charity fund. A significant part of the donation goes to the homes of people.
“RZ Group”
‘I am happy to have met Auksė and Saulius, the founders and leaders of the Workshop of Opportunities, a few years ago. They are extremely dedicated people. A few months ago I had the opportunity to visit their workshop and it took only a few minutes of conversation with the visitors to understand how the workshop is contributing to the well-being of these people. The happiness and joy on their faces was genuine.’

UAB “Rocket Science Baltics”
UAB ‘Rocket Science Baltics’ had the opportunity to visit the Workshop of Opportunities and experience a friendly environment. The Director Šarūnas Ribakovas says: ‘I remember when I visited the Workshop of Opportunities with my colleagues, it was very pleasing to see that people there felt happy and were doing things that they liked. The leaders are great, supportive and happy to help in different situations. The team at the Workshop of Opportunities is like one big family!
As we believe in the idea of the Workshop of Opportunities, we decided to support what we do best – creating a website.’
Kęstutis Maškė, IT Engineer
‘I volunteer for both the Kaniterapijos klubas and the Workshop of Opportunities out of selfish motives, because I enjoy doing good things. It’s good to help, it’s good to be involved in activities that give people positive emotions, help them to feel that they are not inferior to others, to reach their potential. I am constantly striving for personal and professional development, so I always support initiatives to help others improve. In the end, by helping, I become a better person myself, and gain some experience and knowledge.’
